Membership Newsletter

Happy Holidays fellow contractors, vendors and members!

During this season of gratitude and giving, I want to first say thank you to all of the CATT members who help make our organization a success. Our organization is always looking for ways to further benefit our members so if there is something you need please let us know!

I also want to thank CATT staff for all of their hard work in planning and executing countless events, meetings and fundraisers each and every year. They do a lot for all of us! I learned so much about the form and function of CATT as president this last year, and I was blown away by the amount of time and energy the CATT staff puts into our organization.

Dear Members,

As you are making your preparations to close out your year and begin the end of year or the coming year tax planning, please don't forget that CATT has its own 501c3 Tax deductible charity - CATT Community Project (CATTCP).

CATTCP has wonderful programs:

  • The Building Fund that helps realize needed infrastructure & building projects around our community like the recently completed Downtown Park.
  • Technical Assistance Programs to high school CTE programs, like the South Lake Tahoe High School Tiny Homes program.
  • The Jay Lebel Memorial Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships in the form of money for tools and a guaranteed job for those young men and women that want to enter the trades.
  • Workforce Development CATTCP is also the home of workforce development programs and the soon to be launched CATT Kidz Program that exposes our youth from elementary through high school to the importance of the trades.

CATTCP does many things to keep the trades at the forefront of everyone’s mind and gives back to our community. Please consider the CATT Community Project charity, your association’s charity, when you are making end of year contributions to nonprofit charities this month.

It's easy to donate, just follow this link to CATTCP https://www.ca-tt.com/community-project/
