Our Valued members of the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe,

The Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe would like to wish you a Healthy, Happy, and Prosperous 2023. We are currently close to 400 members strong and growing every day. In 2022 through CATT Community Project, the Truckee Downtown Park was opened in October. It was a partnership with Truckee Donner Recreation and Park District and CATT Community Projects. What a gem for the Truckee Tahoe Community! This year we started the Jay Lebel Scholarship for high school kids going into the trades. We are happy to report that we gave two $600 scholarships. We also just held a successful awards night and holiday party in December with over 450 people in attendance. Lots of great special events are being planned for 2023 including membership training, new member orientation, mixers, and our signature event golf tournaments, sporting clay tournament, and the annual holiday party.

Board members are in place for 2023 for the CATT Board of Directors, CATT Community Projects, CATT Public Action Committee, and CATT Government Affairs. Input is always welcomed and encouraged.

There have been some changes in staffing at the CATT office. Our Executive Director, Kellie Cutler has moved on and is pursuing other opportunities. The board has hired Steve Randall, the former General Manager of Truckee Donner Recreation and Park District to take over as the interim Executive Director. Steve comes to us with over 38 years of executive leadership experience in the Truckee Tahoe region. We are lucky to have him during this transition period. The CATT Board of Directors has solicited candidates for the Executive Director and is currently interviewing. It is a great group of candidates for the position and a permanent Executive Director will be hired shortly to take over the operations of CATT.

As always, we are here to serve the membership. Should you need anything, don’t hesitate to call the CATT office at 530 550-9999. We are all in this together as our Mission Statement states, “To promote a positive business environment for the building and housing industry and enhance the opportunity for its members and the community".

Here’s to the best year ever!
