2024 Project Nominations



The 2024 CATT Annual Project Awards are now open for nominations. Landscape of the Year and Interior Design of the Year are new categories to our lineup this year.  The CATT awards are designed to recognize CATT member companies' superior performance in quality, execution, design, materials, and more. Projects must have been completed in 2023 or 2024. A panel of independent judges will review all nominated projects. Profiles of project category winners will be included in the CATT 2025-2026 Building & Remodeling Guide, social and local media, print marketing content, and project award winners will be displayed in the CATT office for the 2025 calendar year.


Winners will be announced at the CATT Holiday Party on Saturday, December 7, 2024.


Deadline for Nominations is Friday, October 11th at 5:00 PM. 


All Project nominations must provide the following information. Please submit responses on a separate document and send them to info@ca-tt.com. The judges will evaluate projects based on this information as well as the criteria included below.  

  • Year Completed (2023-2024 only)
  • Location (Truckee Tahoe region and 60-mile radius)
  • Size (Sq Ft, not including garage)
  • Price per Sq Ft
  • Setting and Environment
  • Inspiration
  • Materials Used
  • Special Details (100 words max)
  • Written Description (100 words max)
  • Signed Photo Permission Form**

CRITERIA                


INTERIOR DESIGN: Visual & Flow, Purpose Fulfillment, Efficiency of Space, Cohesiveness, Color Scheme, Visual Appeal, Originality & Material Use. 

Interior Design Criteria


LANDSCAPE DESIGN: Visual & Flow, Purpose Fulfillment, Efficiency of Space, Cohesiveness, Color Scheme, Visual Appeal, Originality & Material Use. 

Landscape Design Criteria


PUBLIC WORKS: Appropriate, Relevant for Use, Visual Impact, Within Budget, On Schedule, Functional, Beneficial to Public

Public Works Criteria


NEW RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL: Suitable to Setting, Efficient Floor Plan, Challenges Overcome, Use of Technology, Divine Detail, Local Materials

New Commercial Criteria

New Residential Criteria


RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL REMODEL: Suitable to Setting, Efficient Floor Plan, Challenges Overcome, Use of Technology, Divine Detail, Local Materials, Integration with Existing Building

  • 20 color photos (300 dpi or higher), in digital format
  • Floor Plans as 8-1/2” x 11” pdf
  • Please send applicable plans only. Structural, roofing, and mechanical plans are not needed.

  • 15 “before” color photos (300 dpi or higher), digital format
  • 15 “after” color photos (300 dpi or higher), digital format
  • “Before” Floor Plans as 8-1/2” x 11” pdf and “after” Floor Plans as 8-1/2” x 11” pdf, side-by-side photos required
  • Please send applicable plans only. For example, structural, roofing, and mechanical plans are not needed.
