Welcome to the September edition of The CATT Newsletter. As the leaves begin to change and autumn approaches, it's the perfect time to reflect on the incredible transformative impact volunteerism has on our organization and as such our communities.
This month, we have a special focus on our committees, board nominations, and planning for next year. Thank you for being a part of CATT. It takes all of us to ensure the trades continue to be a successful career choice for all of us and our future generations.

Congratulations to our 2023 Subcontractor of the Year |

Grady Jones
Grady Jones has been part of Bobby Jones Concrete Construction since its inception in 1972 when it was created by his father. Bobby Jones Concrete Construction serves Nevada County and Placer County, including the Truckee-Tahoe region. The company has grown over the last several years and is now licensed to work in Nevada, as well. Grady has served on the CATT Board of Directors for six years and contributes by sponsoring events and other donations. The company joined CATT because they believe in the purpose of advocating for our community of local contractors when they come across hurdles in the building process with local government agencies.
Grady and his partner Richard Frazer are out in the trenches each day, working directly with owners, contractors and engineers. They are very hands-on and enjoy the work and working with their people! Winning the award for CATT’s Subcontractor of the Year was a surprise to Grady. He feels proud of his team that works for Bobby Jones Concrete because they are who that made this award possible. |
